I'd like to share a quote that I'm quite fond of:
"Life is a story set in stone; we can't go back and erase anything. The best we can do is look behind us, cross something out, scribble over it with something else, and generally make a mess of it when all we should have done in the first place is leave it be and keep reading."
I have this quote on all of my "about me" box presence online. If you see the quote, yep, that's me. I commit myself to these words and have my seal of approval.
So anyway, hello, I'm a book addict and a secretly aspiring writer (among other things). I'm currently attending university, working towards an Architecture degree. School is very stressing, therefore, I don't have as much time to devote to myself. My to-read list of books is piling high and I'm having a hard time trying to catch up.
My blog is mostly to review books and offer some of my thoughts and insights about life in general. I might also show a bit of my embarrassing, but life changing, experiences. Everything is about learning right? Ultimately, I'm more interested in practicing my writing every day (or as close to every day as possible), whether it's blogging about book reviews or my own experiences. I might even throw in a fictional piece every once in a while. It will all depend on my mood really.
Anyway, good of you to hear me out. Happy reading and/or writing and/or whatever you're doing.
